Mock Trial for care professionals at the Learning and Development Forum Oxford.
Delegates from across the care sector will have the opportunity to experience a real life scenario played out in a famous court room as part of the next NASHiCS Learning & Development forum (10th/11th September 2014, Oxford).
Over the course of the afternoon, a team which includes a practicing defence barrister, a prosecution solicitor (from Weightmans law firm), a prosecuting HSE (Health & Safety Executive) officer and various witnesses will play out a real criminal case that happened in a care home. The incident involved the death of a resident after falling from a sling that was being used to move them.
